New South Asheville Location
Happy New Year,
We are very thrilled to announce the opening of our new Pomodoros Greek and Italian Café in South Asheville, in The Overlook at Lake Julian development. First, we want to thank you, our customers, for making this possible. We officially opened our doors on Saturday, December 22 and are now in full operation. We are offering the same upscale-casual dining experience and signature dishes to our new Long Shoals Road location.
The 5200 square-foot space evokes a warm organic ambiance and timeless style, seating 166 inside and 28-32 on the outside patio. Like our East Asheville location, we offer the same impeccable service and innovative dishes inspired by the Mediterranean regions of Greece and Italy. And the atmosphere is comfortable and timeless - reminiscent of the Mediterranean old-world style. We are committed to earning the approval of our new clientele in South Asheville, Hendersonville, Brevard and beyond.
The new location offers the same three menus as the East Asheville restaurant – lunch, brunch and dinner – and includes pizzas, a variety of creative pasta dishes, lamb chops, duck breast, fresh cut veal and seafood flown in fresh from as far away as Hawaii. Executive Chef, Christopher “Cookie” Hadley, who has been overseeing the kitchen in East Asheville for over four years, is supervising the kitchen at our new location. Cookie and I have constantly refined our dishes to meld our unique style with the regional specialties of the Mediterranean. We are proud to now bring our innovative dishes across town along with some of your traditional favorites. There is a full-service bar and wine list featuring 135 wines, including 7 of the top 100 wines in the world according to Wine Spectator. We also are also introducing our East Asheville tradition of “Wine Lovers’ Wednesdays” (any bottle of wine is half price on Wednesdays) to our new location.
Hours of operation will be:
Monday – Saturday 11:00 am – 10:00 pm.
Sunday Brunch from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday Dinner from 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm.

The new building includes a prototype kitchen designed by architects Chad Roberson and Maria Rusafova of PBC+L Architecture and interior designers Kimberly Soesbee and Janie Nabors with Office Environments.
